The Hyatt Scholars Program at Lexington College
Lexington College is a private, accredited, women’s college that specializes in hospitality management. The College offers a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management in which students specialize in baking & pastry, catering management, culinary arts, event planning, gastronomy, health care & wellness, hotel & lodging management, nutritional studies, restaurant & foodservice management, and travel & tourism. Lexington is conveniently located in Chicago's West Loop near means of public transportation. The student body is composed of a diverse cadre of women seeking a degree in hospitality management.
Lexington's scholarship program is designed to foster our industry's goal of creating a more diverse management workforce — the Hyatt Scholars Program at Lexington College. The program dovetails with successful scholars programs Lexington has with Marriott International, Starbuck's, McDonald's Corporation, and Dunkin' Donuts.
Hyatt Scholars receive an annual tuition scholarship of up to $8,000 for their studies in the Bachelor's degree program at Lexington College.
Scholarship applicants must submit a Hyatt Scholars application, including a recommendation from a manager or supervisor who knows their work and can comment on their application to the Scholars Program. Applications for this program are sent to Lexington College.
Scholarships are available for female partners working in any of the Hyatt properties in the Chicagoland area. The tuition scholarship is annually renewable to students in good academic standing. Scholarship winners enrolling as part time students will qualify for prorated amounts. Candidates must apply and meet Lexington acceptance requirements. Lexington will work with applicants to obtain any additional governmental financial aid funds for which they may qualify.
