The McDonald's Scholars Program at Lexington CollegeMcDonald's Scholars Program ApplicationLexington College is a private, accredited, women's college that specializes in hospitality management. The College offers a Bachelor's degree in hospitality management in which students specialize in hotel/restaurant management, culinary arts, event planning or hospitality related services. Lexington is conveniently located in Chicago's West Loop near means of public transportation. The student body is composed of a diverse cadre of women seeking a degree in hospitality management. Lexington has established a scholarship program designed to foster Lexington and McDonald's shared goal of creating a more diverse management workforce - the McDonald's Scholars Program at Lexington College. McDonald's Scholars receive an annual tuition scholarship of up to $8,000 for their studies in the Bachelor's degree program at Lexington College. Scholarship applicants must submit a McDonald's Scholars application, including a recommendation from a manager or supervisor who knows their work and can comment on their application to the Scholars Program. Applications for this program should be sent to Lexington College. Ten scholarships are available for female associates working for McDonald's in the Chicago area. Tuition scholarships are annually renewable to students in good academic standing. Scholarship winners may earn their degree by attending college part-time. Students enrolling as part-time students qualify for prorated scholarship amounts. Candidates must be high school graduates or hold a G.E.D. Lexington will work with applicants to obtain any additional governmental financial aid funds for which they may qualify. And McDonald's tuition reimbursement may supplement the scholarship! Note: Credit may be given for courses taken at Hamburger University or at McDonald's Regional Training Centers. Students may qualify for up to 20 credit hours towards a degree at Lexington!
