My name is Dacia and I am a 2011 graduate at Lexington College in Chicago, Illinois.

When I first graduated from high school I did not know what I wanted to do with my life. I was uncertain about where I wanted to go. I met with one of the advisors of Lexington at a college fair and decided to look further into the school. Since that day I have never looked back. I will be one of the first in my family to go to and finish college. Lexington has enriched me intellectually and spiritually. I have taken what I have learned and applied it to my professional and personal life.

I want to personally thank you for your donations to Lexington College. If it were not for you who donate to the school I would not be graduating. Thanks to you many young women who never thought it possible to go to college, can go and succeed. With the education we have received here we can better our families and communities. I am eternally grateful.

During the past 30 years, Lexington College has grown through contributions of time, talents, resources, and monetary gifts from many generous donors.

Serving a student body from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, accessibility to a Lexington College degree remains a priority. Tuition and student fees account for only two thirds of Lexington's annual budget. In an effort to keep the cost of a quality education affordable and curriculum and resource quality high, Lexington College relies on the generosity individual, corporate and foundation contributions.

In an effort to build stronger relationships with its donors, Lexington has identified giving opportunities for this Academic year. When it comes to making a contribution, common questions include "In what ways can I give?" and "How do I give?"
