"To be successful, you have to enjoy what you are doing and be willing to reinvent yourself. I credit Lexington for giving me the opportunity to continue my education and opening the doors to the hospitality field. Lexington gave me the tools and guidance to be successful on a professional and personal level. Too many schools concentrate only on the career aspect and do not realize the importance of personal and ethical guidance. Success is having a balance of all three."
Mayela offers advice for Lexington students, "Stay updated in your field and technological changes. Your education does not stop after graduation; every day is a learning experience. Incorporate your values in your work. Motivate yourself to succeed; others will not do it for you. You are responsible for your own success."

"Lexington recognizes the students for who they are as individuals--you're not just a number"
