Lexington operates on a semester schedule, allowing new students to begin in the fall semester or the spring semester. All applicants are encouraged to visit the campus. And are welcome to contact the Office of Admissions with any questions or concerns. Applicants must be high school graduates or hold a general equivalency diploma (GED) and submit results from a standardized admission test, either the examination administered by the American College Testing Program (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Transfer StudentsStudents who have attended another college or university are welcome to apply for admission. Students who have earned at least 24 semester hours or 36 quarter hours at another accredited college or university and hold a cumulative college grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or above are considered "transfer" students; they are eligible to apply to Lexington College, however, they are not guaranteed credit. For admission, transfer students must submit:
Transfer students are required to earn at least 30 hours of academic credit at Lexington to earn the Associate's degree and at least 60 hours of academic credit at Lexington to earn the Bachelor's degree. International StudentsLexington College invites students from countries outside the United States to participate in its unique program. Lexington College is authorized under U.S. federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. International students interested in attending Lexington College should contact the Director of Admissions or phone (312) 226-6294.
