How do I locate a journal in the library?

How do I find reserve material for my class?
Reserve articles, books, videos or CDs are kept in the Librarian’s office and are available for use in the library only. Print materials may be photocopied.

What if the library does not have the material I need?
Lexington College has a reciprocal borrowing agreement with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). With a valid Lexington College ID, students, faculty and staff may borrow books and any of the regularly circulating items from the general collections at the UIC libraries. Students may search the UIC collections online from the Lexington Library.

Lexington College also can obtain most materials through interlibrary loan. That means we ask other libraries throughout the state and possibly the country to loan the material to us. This process can take several weeks to receive the items, so please allow enough time. Requests for interlibrary loan materials can be made through the librarian. Loan period is usually 3-4 weeks and items must be returned promptly on the due date to allow for shipment back to the home library.
