their field.
Guest experts and on-site visits supplement
the classroom experience, giving insight into the real world
of restaurant food production and presentation, hotel operations,
event/meeting planning, etc. Presentations from these experts
give added dimension to classroom learning and often yield
valuable industry contacts for the students as well. Corporate
CEOs of all specialties, banquet managers, hotel managers,
and chefs are some of Lexington’s typical guest speakers
throughout the academic year.
